- Abstract: The present study makes an experimental and theoretical exploration on the thermal conductivity of Graphene/NiO-Coconut oil hybrid nanofluids. The Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) micrographs are used to characterize the nanomaterials. The Graphene with the average sheet thickness of 1–4 nm and NiO nanomaterials (70:30) are used as an additive for preparing nanofluids. The thermal conductivity of different concentrations of the hybrid nanofluid is studied by KD2-Pro thermal analyzer which measures based on transient hot wire method. The experimental outcomes show that the thickness of nanoparticle-base fluid interface and aggregated path of nanomaterials play a significant role in enhancing thermal conductivity over base fluid.
