- Abstract : The Cover Feature shows a single laser ablation electrospray ionisation event for mass spectrometric analysis of protein complexes. The infrared laser ejects intact protein complexes containing droplets from a sample surface, to interact with an orthogonal nebula of charged electrospray droplets. These charges are transferred to the protein complexes at atmospheric pressure before entering the mass spectrometer inlet for analysis. More information can be found in the Communication by R. M. A.
