- Abstract : Helicene rafts on water : Amphiphilic derivatives of dibenzo[6]helicene form stable Langmuir layers at the air–water interface. Significant differences can be found in their structure and behavior depending on molecular chirality and the nature of the polar group. Both experiments and molecular dynamics simulations point to the fact that racemic assemblies are more stable than enantiopure ones. More information can be found in the Full Paper by B. Schmidt, I.
