- Abstract : The answer to the question posed in the headline depends on whom you ask, but studies are coming out reporting patient viewpoints on what formulations of buprenorphine they prefer. A randomized clinical trial funded by Camurus, maker of both weekly and monthly depot versions, said patients preferred either of these to the daily oral (see "Australian study touts patient satisfaction with depot buprenorphine, " ADAW, May 31, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adaw.33080 ).
