- Abstract : A low‐noise inducing receiver (Rx) for human body communication is proposed. By minimising switching noise from the digital circuit of the Rx and coupling of the signal to the Rx ground, stable and reliable communication was accomplished even when the transmitter (Tx) and the Rx were attached to the human body. A prototype Tx and Rx were implemented with a PCB size of 5 × 6 cm. They were tested with this low‐noise inducing Rx design and accomplished a data rate of 1 Mbits/s without any cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error.
