- Abstract : An n ‐pole absorptive reciprocal filter consists of at least 2 n single‐mode resonators is proved. An absorptive band‐pass filter with four‐pole Chebyshev response is designed with two four‐pole filters and two‐quadrature hybrids. The quadrature hybrids are used to divide the signals into two paths. Additional two ports are introduced to absorb the reflected energy. This circuit structure is easy in fabrication on superconducting wafers. The filter is successfully designed and fabricated on an MgO substrate. The measured results match well with the simulations.
