- Abstract: With the development of wearable devices, the conventional rigid material substrates have been unable to meet the needs of development. This article proposes a model based on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) stretchable microstrip line, which can be used to calculate the microwave performance when the microstrip line is stretched. The deformation results of the microstrip line are obtained by simulating the microstrip line under different stretching condition. A T‐type equivalent circuit model with novel formulas is established and the parameters R, L, C, and G of the equivalent circuit of the microstrip line are calculated by using the formulas. The S ‐parameters of the microstrip transmission line can then be derived. Through the comparison of S parameters, it is found that the model calculation results have a good agreement with the simulation results.
