Abstract

Nowadays, the level of competition in the electronics sector is very high. According to market experts, competition in the electronics sector relies not only on the development of new products, but also on the implementation of appropriate supply chain management strategies, that are crucial for gaining competitive advantage in the electronics sector. Another interesting observation is the role of startups in this sector, as they have gained a substantial share of the market over the last years. To this end, this paper focuses on the critical supply chain management decisions for startups in the electronics sector. More specifically, a survey and game theory tools are implemented for the selection of the best strategy towards competition, taking into consideration three critical supply chain management decisions: fleet capacity, warehouse capacity and level of keeping stock for final products. The results of the analysis and the discussion of a few interesting managerial insights are presented.
