- Abstract : In article number 1901257, Yana Vaynzof and co‐workers introduce π‐extended phosphoniumfluorene electrolytes as hole‐blocking layers in planar perovskite solar cells. The electrolytes drastically alter the energetic landscape of the device, introducing a strong dipole between the fullerene electron extraction layer and the silver electrode. This results in a substantial enhancement in the built‐in potential of the device, increasing its open‐circuit voltage by up to 120 meV.
