Abstract

Abstract: Das Doppelwohnhaus für zwei Familien liegt im nordwestlichen Teil der Gemeinde Bolligen. Die leichte Hanglage ist die eigentliche Besonderheit des Ortes: die einzigartige Topografie erlaubt gegen Süden den weiten Panoramablick vom Gantrischgebirge bis in den Jura. Der dreigeschossige Neubau weist ein Untergeschoss, ein Erdgeschoss und ein Attikageschoss auf und ist in Längsrichtung achssymmetrisch aufgebaut. Die Einheiten des Carports als Nebenbau, des Wohn‐Hauptgeschosses und des großzügigen Balkons bilden die drei Kernelemente des Projekts. Das helle, gewellte Metall der Fassade stärkt die Leichtigkeit und schlichte Eleganz der skelettartig aufgebauten Gebäudestruktur aus Stahl. Das feine Metall verbindet sich oszillierend mit den Einflüssen der Umgebung und des Himmels. Formal und im Inhalt stringent, ordnet sich das Doppelwohnhaus in der einzigartigen topografischen Situation wie selbstverständlich ein. Abstract: Elegance and vibration: two‐family house in Bolligen The semi‐detached house for two families is located in the northwestern part of the municipality of Bolligen. The slight hillside location is the real special feature of its location: the unique topography allows a panoramic view to the south from the Gantrisch Mountains to the Jura. The three‐storey new building has a basement, a ground floor and an attic floor and is axially symmetrical in the longitudinal direction. The units of the carport as an ancillary building, the residential main floor and the generous balcony form the three core elements of the project. The light, corrugated metal of the façade strengthens the lightness and simple elegance of the skeleton‐like steel building structure. The fine metal combines oscillatingly with the influences of the surroundings and the sky. Formal and stringent in content, the semi‐detached house fits into the unique topographical situation in the most natural way.
