Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature shows a Newton's cradle in which the organocatalyst and the photoredox‐catalyst combine their strengths to lead to a‐b disubstituted tryptamines. In their Communication, Géraldine Masson and co‐workers reported a sequential approach to the stereoselective synthesis of highly functionalized tryptamines. The enantioselective organocatalytic amination was successfully coupled to a subsequent photocatalyzed Friedel‐Crafts reaction providing an efficient access to this important class of alkaloids.
