Abstract

Abstract : In article number 2100111, Song, Yang, and co‐workers summarize recent advances in single‐cell transcriptome sequencing and multi‐dimensional profiling. The investigation of mRNA enables the interrogation of gene expression pattern, revealing cell‐to‐cell heterogeneity. The multi‐dimensional measurement, including spatially and temporally resolved transcriptome analysis, and multi‐omics profiling allows a more comprehensive overview and understanding of biological systems.
