- Abstract : In order to smooth the tie‐line power fluctuation effectively, this study presents a coordination control strategy for the combined heat and power microgrid based on heat pumps and energy storage system (ESS). The strategy establishes an electricity–heat conversion model of heat pumps. Heat pump priority sequence for state switching is calculated depending on the group control algorithm. By switching the heat pumps' on–off states, partial tie‐line fluctuation power is suppressed firstly. Weight functions are built considering the operating states of ESS and heat pumps. The remaining tie‐line fluctuation power is allocated among them. Simulation indicates the proposed strategy implements the energy coordination control of the tie‐line fluctuation suppression. Meanwhile, it improves the complementary economy and energy utilisation efficiency for the combined heat and power microgrid.
