- Abstract : Evidence‐Based Answer : Apparently no. Polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and vitamin D supplementation (along with interferon treatment) have not been shown to improve outcomes in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) (SOR: B, systematic review of low‐quality RCTs and small RCT).
