- Abstract : We present the results of the Monte Carlo simulations of Fe/Gd multilayers and a comparison of the models studied with experimental results. The Heisenberg model interactions are considered for both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic cases. At thermal equilibrium magnetization, the Curie temperature is investigated for different thicknesses of Fe layers and interface morphology in Fe/Gd multilayers. It turns out that the magnetic properties of the Fe/Gd multilayers strongly depend on magnetization amplitude with interface composition, the spatial arrangement of magnetic atoms, and the thickness of Fe layers.
