Abstract : We introduce some subclasses of close-to-star functions defined by subordination and obtain sharp upper bounds of the functional | a 3 - μ a 2 2 |, μ real, for an analytic function f ( z ) = z + ∑ n = 2 ∞ a n z n, | z | < 1, belonging to these sub-classes.
