Abstract

Abstract : Water-stable anionic Ln2 L2 -type macrocycles have been constructed from a 1, 2, 4-triazole-based ligand, of which the luminescent Eu2 L 2 macrocycle can be used for ee detection toward pybox-type chiral ligands and selective sensing of OMA in water. Abstract : Water-stable anionic Ln2 L2 -type (Ln = La III and Eu III ) lanthanide–organic macrocycles have been constructed by deprotonation self-assembly of a bis-tridentate ligand consisting of two 2, 6-bis-(1, 2, 4-triazole)-pyridine chelation arms bridged by a dibenzofuran chromophore, of which the luminescent Eu2 L 2 macrocycle can be used for enantiomeric excess (ee) detection toward pybox-type chiral ligands and selective colorimetric sensing of omethoate (OMA) in water.
