Abstract

Abstract : Use of checklists in a clinical setting can improve both the quality and safety of the care that a patient receives. In the September issue of In Practice, Catherine Oxtoby and Liz Mossop discussed clinical governance and the use of checklists in human medicine and the lessons for veterinary practice ( IP, September 2016, pp 408–410). Here, they look at how checklists can be implemented in a veterinary setting.
