Abstract

Abstract : As one academic year finishes and the next begins, employers look to the pool of newly graduated vets to fill positions in their practice. This article looks at the changing nature of contemporary practice and how this influences recruitment within the veterinary profession. It discusses what practices value most from their new graduate starters, how to attract the best candidates, as well as how applicants can make themselves more attractive to employers.
