Abstract

Abstract: In Heilbronn entstand auf dem Gelände der BUGA 2019 das erste Wohnhochhaus in Holz‐Hybrid‐Bauweise in Deutschland. „SKAIO" steht Pate für zukunftsweisendes Bauen und Wohnen. 2019 wurde im Heilbronner Neckarbogen die Bundesgartenschau ausgerichtet. Die BUGA ist außer einer Blumenschau v. a. auch ein Stadtentwicklungsprogramm für Heilbronn. Im Rahmen des Aktionsprogramms Wohnen entstand der neue Stadtteil „Neckarbogen". Das 34 m hohe, zehngeschossige Holz‐Hybrid‐Hochhaus SKAIO setzt dabei ein markantes Zeichen für innovative Architektur und zukunftsweisende Bautechnik. Abstract: The "SKAIO" timber‐hybrid building in Heilbronn Germany's first high‐rise apartment block in a timber‐hybrid form of construction has been built on the grounds of the 2019 Federal Garden Show in Heilbronn. "SKAIO" is the model for future building and living standards. The 2019 Federal Garden Show took place on the banks of the River Neckar in Heilbronn. Apart from displays of plants and flowers, the show was, first and foremost, an urban development program for Heilbronn. Neckarbogen is a new city district that was built as a result of the show's housing program. "SKAIO" is a 34 m high, 10‐storey timber‐hybrid structure that points the way forward for innovative architecture and future building methods.
