- Abstract:
- Highlights: Earth has been exiled from the city; this civilizational anomaly needs to be addressed. The exile of Earth from the city has caused a crisis of the Occidental modes of habitability. New modes of dwelling can be imagined based on the radical interdependence of everything that exists. "Rurbanization" and "ontological metroffiting" emerge as critical design projects. Clues for re-earthing the city can be found in territorial-communal struggles by peasants and indigenous peoples.
