- Abstract : A new sensor interface topology is presented that is particularly attractive for integration into modern low‐voltage low‐power CMOS microelectronics. The new circuit is inherently linear and provides better gain, sensitivity and dynamic range than the widely used Wheatstone bridge. The proposed structure not only offers all the benefits of the current‐driven Anderson loop, but also outperforms the latter in terms of output range, sensitivity and design simplicity. In addition, the new architecture is scalable to the interface with multiple sensor elements with very little or no extra circuit overhead.
