- Abstract : Terahertz Spectroscopy Terahertz waves are not only sensitive to the hydration level of skin. In article number 2000024, Emma Pickwell‐MacPherson and co‐workers show that the anisotropic structure of the stratum corneum, represented by its birefringence, can be characterized by THz sensing. This cover illustrates the double‐prism ellipsometer design used to fully resolve the THz birefringence of human skin in vivo for the first time.
