- Abstract : This work presents a new uranyl–organic polyhedron U4 L4 assembled from uranyl and a semirigid ligand. By adjusting the carbon chain length of organic templates, the secondary assembly of U4 L4 nanocages is achieved. Abstract : Herein, we report a new uranyl–organic polyhedron U4 L4 (L = BTPCA) assembled from uranyl and a semirigid tritopic ligand. By adjusting the carbon chain length of organic templates, two complexes can be obtained based on the diverse secondary assembly of U4 L4 cages. The mechanism of different arrangements of U4 L4 cages induced by organic templates was explored in detail.
