- Graphical abstract: Two novel ether-based perrhenate ILs [C2 2O n Im][ReO4 ]( n = 1, 2) were synthesized successfully, and the relationship between static and transport properties and temperature were discussed. The predicted values of parachor, surface tension and refractive index of 7 kinds of ILs were obtained by the values of cationic parachor, [C2 2O n Im] + ( n = 1, 2), which are correlated quite well with their matching experimental ones. Highlights: Two ILs [C2 2O n Im][ReO4 ]( n = 1, 2) were synthesized at first. The 2OR group is favorable to decreasing viscosity of 1, 3-dialkylimidazolium ILs. The properties of E a, P, R m and α p are temperature-independent. V m is increases little with increasing temperature, W is opposite. The cationic parachors, [C2 2O n Im] + ( n = 1, 2), were obtained for the first time.
