Abstract

Zusammenfassung: Verdünnungskryostate werden für unterschiedliche Anwendungen eingesetzt, so zum Beispiel im großen Stil bei der Entwicklung von Quantencomputern, oder aber auch für die Grundlagenforschung in der Festkörperphysik. Vakuumtechnik spielt bei der Erzeugung der tiefen Temperaturen eine zentrale Rolle. Dieser Artikel beleuchtet die notwendigen Eigenschaften von Vakuumpumpen, die die sogenannte 3 He/ 4 He‐Mischung zirkulieren. Neben der Ergebnisse eines Feldtests mit einer mehrstufigen Wälzkolbenpumpe wird der Einsatz von Pumpsystemen diskutiert. Vacuum technology plays a central role in generating the low temperatures. This article highlights the necessary features of vacuum pumps that circulate the so‐called 3 He/ 4 He mixture. In addition to the results of a field test with a multistage Roots pump, the use of pumping systems is discussed.
