Abstract

Abstract : Cover Illustration: Triple confocal immunofluorescence image of a primary astrocyte (green; GFAP) which has engulfed Abeta‐containing synaptoneurosomes (red; Abeta42) derived from APP mice. Lysosomes (blue; Lamp1) surround the internalized synaptic elements but there is no overlap between both compartments indicating an inefficient degradation capacity.
