- Abstract : A portable ion selective sensor with high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, easy operation and low price is demonstrated in whole blood. In this research we developed a lead ion selective sensor which can rapidly detect lead ion in whole blood, in the convenience of home/office. The ion selective sensor consists of ISM, narrowly separated metal electrodes and field effect transistor (FET) for signal transduction. Under high field operation, the signal of our sensor is amplified by the FET. We can thus make our sensor have high sensitivity and low detection limit, which is comparable to the traditional technologies such as ICP-MS.
