- Abstract: The large-scale access of electric vehicles will aggravate the peak-to-valley load difference of the distribution network, and the intermittent power generation of high-penetration renewable energy also threatens the safe operation of the distribution network. Energy storage is widely used in the fields of power peak load shifting and access of renewable energy. This paper proposes a two-level optimization model that considers both planning and operation of energy storage system. At the planning level, a method for the location and capacity of energy storage is proposed based on the economics of the distribution network. At the operation level, a scheduling strategy applying to different seasonal scenarios is proposed to achieve the best effect of peak load shifting. The simulated annealing particle swarm algorithm with good convergence performance is used to solve the model. Finally, the performance and economic benefits of the model are demonstrated through simulation research.
