Abstract

Abstract : This cover image is based on the Original Article Using multimodal MRI to investigate alterations in brain structure and function in the BBZDR/Wor rat model of type 2 diabetes by Christopher M. Lawson et al. DOI: 10.1002/ame2.12140 . In this article, multimodal MRI was performed to evaluate the BBZDR/Wor model of T2DM with expectation of finding common neuroradiological measures of cerebral neuropathy as reported in the clinic. If so, the model would have the potential to provide valuable imaging data on disease progression and a noninvasive means of assessing the efficacy of therapeutic intervention on brain structure and function.
