Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to highlight the link between the development of the transport system and the trust that citizens place in institutions' initiatives. A theoretical model has been specified according to which perceived power and knowledge of the transportation system influence the perceived benefits of local policies as well as the awareness of the relative costs. Such aspects, on their turn, influence and are linked to trust both in the local transport and in the local policy, in general. Model estimation has been carried out using the results of a survey conducted in the metropolitan area of Naples (south Italy) performing a structural equation model with partial least square‐path modeling estimation. Resumen: El objetivo de este artículo es poner de relieve el vínculo entre el desarrollo del sistema de transporte y la confianza que los ciudadanos depositan en las iniciativas de las instituciones. Se ha especificado un modelo teórico según el cual el poder percibido y el conocimiento del sistema de transporte influyen en los beneficios percibidos de las políticas locales, así como en la conciencia sobre los costos relativos. Estos aspectos, a su vez, influyen y están vinculados a la confianza tanto en el transporte local como en la política local, en general. La estimación del modelo se llevó a cabo utilizando los resultados de una encuesta realizada en el área metropolitana de Nápoles (sur de Italia) en un modelo de ecuación estructural ajustada con una estimación por modelación de mínimos cuadrados parciales. 抄録: 本稿の目的は、交通輸送システムの発達と、機関のイニシアチブに対する市民の信頼とのつながりを強調することである。交通輸送システムの認識された力と知識が、地域政策の認識された利益と相対的コストを認識することに影響する理論モデルを特定した。そうした側面は、順番に影響を与え、概して、地域の交通輸送と地域の政策の両方の信頼につながる。ナポリの都市圏 (南イタリア)で実施された調査の結果を用いて、部分的最小二乗パスモデリング推定を伴う共分散構造分析によりモデル推定を実施した。
