Abstract

Abstract: The skunk clownfish, Amphiprion akallopisos was studied to access the effect of different wet feeds on reproductive performance such as no. of eggs, spawning frequency, fertilization rate, and hatchability etc. for the first time from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The wet feeds such as cuttlefish meat, squid meat, fish meat, and prawn meat as control were used. The result from the present study showed that the number of eggs was significantly influenced by the given feed. The fishes served with cuttlefish meat provided the maximum number of eggs (448 ± 5.88) whereas, others are given fewer numbers in comparison with cuttlefish meat. However, fertilization and hatchability were not affected by the tested diets. There was no significant difference in egg length and tasted diets as the capsule had maximum width 1mm in cuttlefish fed group, whereas the highest larval length was observed with squid meat‐fed group. It is revealed that the maximum number of spawning was observed in the brooder fishes fed cuttlefish and showed higher reproductive efficiency than others. Hence results from the present study will be helpful for researchers to work on deeper aspects of broodstock nutrition, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists for captive spawning. The law and policy for conservation and management of corals such as tourism, mining, as well as over fishing have been studied for the sustainable production of this species for the marine ornamental fish trade. 摘要: 本文首次研究了安达曼‐尼科巴群岛的印度洋银线小丑鱼（Amphiprion akallopisos），以评估不同湿饲料对例如产卵量、产卵频率、受孕率、孵化率等繁殖性能产生的效果。以墨鱼肉、鱿鱼肉、鱼肉、虾肉等湿饲料作为对照实验使用。当前研究结果显示，产卵量受规定饲料的显著影响。以墨鱼肉为食的鱼的产卵量最大（448 ± 5.88）。其余组饲料的投喂量比墨鱼肉少。然而，受孕率和孵化率不受鱼食的影响。鱼卵长度未出现显著差异，墨鱼饲料组中鱼卵宽度最大，为1mm，而鱿鱼饲料组的幼体长度最大。研究显示，以墨鱼为食的亲鱼的产卵数量最多，并且其繁殖效率比其余组更高。因此本研究得出的结果将有助于研究者调查亲鱼营养的更深层方面，且有助于企业家和养鱼爱好者进行饲养产卵。研究了与珊瑚礁开采保护与管理及毁礁捕鱼相关的法律和政策，以期对这类小丑鱼的可持续生产（用于海洋观赏鱼贸易）作贡献。 Resumen: Se estudió el pez payaso mofeta, Amphiprion akallopisos para acceder al efecto de diferentes alimentos húmedos sobre el rendimiento reproductivo, como el no. de huevos, frecuencia de desove, tasa de fertilización y eclosión, etc. por primera vez en las islas Andaman y Nicobar. Se utilizaron alimentos húmedos como carne de sepia, carne de calamar, carne de pescado y carne de camarón como control. El resultado del presente estudio mostró que el no. de huevos se vio significativamente influenciada por los alimentos dados. Los pescados servidos con carne de sepia proporcionaron el número máximo de huevos (448 ± 5, 88). Mientras que a otros se les da menos números en comparación con la carne de sepia. Sin embargo, la fertilización y la incubabilidad no se vieron afectadas por las dietas probadas. No hubo diferencia significativa en la longitud del huevo y las dietas de sabor, la cápsula tenía un ancho máximo de 1 mm en el grupo alimentado con sepia, mientras que la longitud larvaria más alta se observó en el grupo alimentado con carne de calamar. Se revela que el número máximo de desove se observó en los peces reproductores alimentados con sepias y mostraron una mayor eficiencia reproductiva que otros. Por lo tanto, los resultados del presente estudio serán útiles para que los investigadores trabajen en aspectos más profundos de la nutrición de los reproductores, los empresarios y los aficionados al desove en cautividad.
