Abstract

Highlights: TPACK does not exist in a vacuum. Systems and cultures can define or constrain the kinds of moves teachers can make in pedagogical space. We define 5 spaces for intentional design (artifacts, processes, experiences, systems and culture). Teachers need to go beyond artifacts, processes and experiences to think of systems and culture if they are to succeed. This also has implications for future research and practice.
