Abstract

Abstract : Multiple-system atrophy, a rare adult-onset neurodegenerative disease, is associated with autonomic dysfunction, features of parkinsonism, and cerebellar ataxia. This article discusses multiple-system atrophy pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and perioperative issues pertinent to anesthesia.
