Abstract

Abstract : The Front Cover shows a new method for the fast assembly of 1, 6‐dihydro­pyridine core through a copper(I) bromide‐catalyzed reaction of A3‐coupling‐derived propargylamines with ethyl buta‐2, 3‐dienoate. The overall transformation involves the addition of secondary propargylamines to ethyl buta‐2, 3‐dienoate and subsequent cycloisomerization of resulting 1, 5‐enynes.
