Abstract

The first conference focusing on the measurement of intracranial pressure took place in 1972 in Hannover, Germany. Since then, every 2–3 years, scientists and clinicians from all over the world come together and present their latest findings and developments in the fields of invasive and noninvasive neuromonitoring, data signaling and neuroimaging. For the 14th International Conference on Intracranial Pressure and Brain Monitoring in Tübingen, Germany, over 100 talks and 100 posters were presented in a 5-day conference, with a special session entitled 'Monitoring the Child's Injured Brain'.
