- Abstract: In this paper, a sufficient condition under event-triggered control is proposed to stabilize the continuous-time system subject to asymmetric saturation. As a complex nonlinearity, the asymmetric saturation exists in a large number of practical systems, which may degrade the performance of the system. An improved triggering condition is designed considering the asymmetric saturation nonlinearity and the lower bound of the inter-event time interval is calculated to avoid Zeno behavior. The contractive invariant set is estimated as the stable region of the system, which is determined by solving an optimization problem using linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions. In the final section of the paper, simulation examples are provided to verify the theoretical results.
