- Abstract : Graphene flakes, nucleated over a polycrystalline graphene film, are shown by Slava V. Rotkin, Mark H. Rümmeli, and co‐workers in article number 2002755 to rotate and synchronize their crystal orientation globally early on during growth. This process causes the flakes to adopt a variety of fractal like shapes. As the flakes continue to grow, they eventually merge to form large‐area single‐crystal graphene.
