- Highlights: The clinical values of the length of the infundibulum (LI) and the ostium height (FOD) are discussed. The gender difference in sinusopathies can be attributed to the dimensional difference in the ostiomeatal complex. The length of the infundibulum was not a determining factor for drainage of the sinusal content.
