- Abstract : A recent PwC 'Global State of Information Security Survey' showed that the total number of security incidents detected by respondents climbed to 42.8 million in 2014, an increase of 48% from 2013. 1 It's clear that, more than ever, governments and businesses are being fined for data breaches that could and should have been avoided. More than ever, governments and businesses are being fined for data breaches that could and should have been avoided. As a result, businesses today are turning to data loss prevention (DLP) solutions. Lior Arbel of Performanta offers some insight into several aspects of DLP solutions, including an overview of the different type of DLP processes, the business benefits gained from deployments, as well as providing some business advice for general investment in cyber-security systems and policies.
