- Abstract : In article number 2000139, Sandra H. Vaz and co‐workers present microreactors containing platinum nanoparticles and the enzyme glutamate dehydrogenase, which are able to restore neuronal function lost due to exposure to excitotoxic stimuli in rat primary cortical neurons. These microreactors mimic cellular function by removing reactive oxygen species, ammonia, and glutamate from the extracellular space. Cover design created by Adam Armada‐Moreira.
