- Abstract : An efficient earth-abundant photocatalytic system composed of an organic TADF photosensitizer and a simple terpyridine–Fe(iii ) complex was developed for CO2 reduction. Abstract : An earth-abundant photocatalytic system composed of an organic TADF photosensitizer and a simple terpyridine–Fe(iii ) complex was developed for CO2 reduction. In the presence of water, significant enhancement of CO generation was observed with 99.3% selectivity. The turnover number (TON) and turnover frequency (TOF) were determined to be 2250 and 60 min −1, respectively.
