- Abstract : Considering halftoning images cause extra current consumption in TFT e‐papers, we conduct a model to estimate the current consumption from image content and develop a localized halftoning algorithm regarding visual saliency. The mean current during refreshing is decreased by more than 35 mA and the image quality is well kept.
