- Abstract : We have studied the efficiency improvement of OLED TVs using high transmittance technology and reversed quarter wave plate (r‐QWP) of the improved polarizer. It helped that the efficiency of OLED went up, so that power consumption and life time of OLED panels have been improved. In this paper, study on the efficiency improvement of OLED TV using new high transmittance polarizer will be presented.
