Abstract

Abstract : The precise tuning of the multiple electron transfers based on a chemical technique of site-doping in tetraoxolene-bridged Fe honeycomb layer systems was demonstrated. Abstract : The precise control of intra-lattice multiple electron transfers was demonstrated in the solvated and desolvated species of the tetraoxolene-bridged Fe honeycomb layer system, (NPr4 )2 [Fe2 (Cl2 An)3 ]·(solv) (Cl2 An n − = 2, 5-dichloro-3, 6-dihydroxy-1, 4-benzoquinonate; NPr4 + = tetrapropylammonium cation), by the site-doping of the Cl2 An n − bridging unit using X2 An n − units with X = Br or F.
