- Abstract : The traditional LCD display is not suitable for the application of transparent displays because of its low transmittance which results in poor transparency. In this paper, we proposed a 28‐inch transparent LCD display with novel pixel arrangement and multiple optimization algorithms. We achieved high transparency characteristics without the sacrifice of color gamut by adopting multiple white sub‐pixels. And at the same time design of specific algorithms improved and enhanced the visual effects of transparent display. The simulation and experimental results verify that the new processing method greatly balanced the transparency and clarity of the display.
