- Abstract : There is an increasing attention paid to improving transparent conductive electrodes for applications in highly transparent and large size displays. We optimized top‐emitting organic light‐emitting diodes (TE‐OLEDs) using high resistance IZO as a short reduction layer to reduce leakage current through a shorting defect. Leakage current devices have decreased by 5% and brightness decreased by 11% less than the devices with the identical organic layers and standard IZO cathode.
