- Abstract : Front Cover: The plasma activation of perfluoroethylenepropylene was used for substrate enhancement suitable for construction of honeycomb‐like structures of biopolymer poly‐l ‐lactic acid. Surface activation with plasma significantly improved the possibility of successful HCL pattern formation on perfluoroethylenepropylene polymer compared with the pristine foil. The idea of surface pretreatment with plasma allowed to prepare pattern with different pore dimension, which may have a significant role for cytocompatibility enhancement and growth of specific cells such as osteoblasts. The unique combination of plasma treatment and dipcoating technique as simple and cheap procedure was confirmed to be a significant tool for honeycomb‐like structure construction.
