- Abstract : In article number 1900328, Noo Li Jeon and co‐workers' work highlights engineered neovascular models inspired by ocular angiogenesis for drug screening with high throughput. The ready‐to‐use microfluidic platform enables functional and morphological vessel modeling based on a simple experimental approach and robust reproducible results. The well‐established model can yield dose‐dependent responses for anti‐angiogenic drugs. This model has the potential to replace the ocular angiogenesis assay performed in animal experiments.
