- Abstract : Recently, carbon nanohybrids based on carbon nanomaterials including fullerene, carbon nanotube (CNT), carbon nanofiber (CNF), and graphene have attracted considerable attention in the field of science and technology due to their unique electrical, mechanical, chemical, spectroscopic properties, and high porosities. These nanohybrids not only increase electrical conductivity, but also enhance surface areas, thereby overcoming the limitations of individual carbon nanomaterial for material science and electronic engineering. Herein, the electronic and materials properties of carbon nanohybrids consisting of CNT/graphene, CNT/fullerene, CNT/CNF, and graphene/fullerene for advanced electronic applications are discussed. Abstract : Carbon nanohybrids based on carbon nanomaterials including fullerene, carbon nanotube (CNT), carbon nanofiber (CNF), and graphene are investigated for advanced electronic applications. Unique architectures and fundamental material properties of CNT/graphene, CNT/fullerene, CNT/CNF, and graphene/fullerene nanohybrids are discussed. Carbon nanohybrids open‐up a promising route to overcome the limitations of the individual carbon nanomaterial for material science and electronic engineering.
